Tribute for the 75th year for DC-3 in 2010

We just heard from Lars Cedwall:

Hi guys,

I represent the Flygande Veteraner/Flying Veterans of Sweden successfully operating a C47/DC-3 from 1943. SE-CFP.

The type itself hits 75 in 2010 (roll out 1935). Is this a cause for celebration?

In Europe plans are to  pay tribute to this fine aircraft at the airport of Teuge in Holland sometime next year.
