DC-3-S Angel Flight 44

Just heard from Murky:

I’m sure you’ve heard of this DC-3 operation, but just in case… Kenneth Copeland was talking about it..

Angel Flight 44 (AF44) was born out of the catastrophes of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita that struck the United States in late 2005, AF44 is primarily dedicated to providing additional aviation support to Kenneth Copeland Ministries and other Christian humanitarian organizations such as Operation Blessing International, for the purpose of disaster relief efforts.

Tribute for the 75th year for DC-3 in 2010

We just heard from Lars Cedwall:

Hi guys,

I represent the Flygande Veteraner/Flying Veterans of Sweden successfully operating a C47/DC-3 from 1943. SE-CFP.

The type itself hits 75 in 2010 (roll out 1935). Is this a cause for celebration?

In Europe plans are to  pay tribute to this fine aircraft at the airport of Teuge in Holland sometime next year.

DC-3 at Anchorage Intl Airport in Alaska

We just heard from Jerry Jacobsen:

Saw your web site, so thought I’d submit a picture I took last week at Anchorage Intl Airport in Alaska.

There were people that deplaned, but I missed the shot.  This is an active plane.
