Civil, Military, Airline, General Aviation – Pilots, Aircrew, Mechanics – LOGBOOK
http://logbookmag.com/

brings you the stories that have never been published before, told by the people who experienced the history first-hand. LOGBOOK is heavily illustrated, usually with out of the ordinary photographs that have never been seen before.
LOGBOOK is a quarterly magazine covering the entire spectrum of international aviation history, from the first tentative attempts at flight, to history that was made just yesterday.
we also enjoy working with, actively encouraging and publishing the first-time, one-time and fledgling author. These are the folks who actually lived the aviation history they are writing about, which lets the reader experience the action from a unique perspective. This allows LOGBOOK to bring you aviation history you will find no other place.

Eagle360 April 2014
Check out amazing Eagle360 air-to-air video of an Airborne Support Inc, DC-3 tanker training for (very) low level spraying of oil dispersants in the Gulf of Mexico (these people were first in and last out during the BP Deep Horizon oil spill),

Next Week we'll be at Sun n Fun, booth D-12. If you live in the Northeast, where this winter has been longer and colder than recent memory, you can imagine how we are looking forward to heading South, and we hope to see you there. In addition to the booth, I'll be presenting twice on Secrets of Shooting Amazing Airborne Video: Wednesday at 11 am in Classroom 5 and Friday at 1 pm in classroom 2. Drop by: we will cover cameras, settings, flight planning, with lots of real-world examples!

Dispersing Oil Slicks in the Gulf

Airborne Support Inc (ASI) has been in business since 1991, providing aerial dispersant services for over 100 clients engaged in oil and gas drilling activities in the Gulf of Mexico. During BP Deepwater Horizon their aircraft were first on the scene and the last to detach from recovery efforts. They fly 4 spray aircraft and 2 spotter/surveillance aircraft. Here Brad Barker, ASI President, flies a Twin Commander with an Eagle360, escorting and shooting video of one of their DC-3's in training action over the Gulf of Mexico, flying from their base in Houma Louisiana. Spray runs are conducted at 50 feet AGL!
